Aftab Iqbal Urges Kashmiri Youth to Reject Violence and Embrace Citizen Journalism During his talk show renowned Aftab Iqbal expressed concern over the current situation in Azad Kashmir and other regions saying he fears that the situation does not appear to be stabilizing. He said the people of Kashmir continue to struggle for their fundamental rights and warned that if force is used again, as witnessed in recent weeks the situation could become even more serious. Addressing the youth Aftab Iqbal urged them to avoid violence under all circumstances and instead make positive use of modern technology and social media. He described citizen journalism as a powerful tool in today world encouraging young people to record and document any incidents of injustice or abuse, add their own voice and context and share the truth with the wider public. He further said that if individuals cannot directly confront powerful forces, wisdom demands that they protect their lives while safely documenting and exposing the facts. Aftab Iqbal also appealed to young people to send him their vlogs, videos, and views. He said all of his platforms are available to amplify their voices and help bring their concerns to a wider audience.
