There are growing calls for the immediate restoration of internet and telecommunication services in Pakistan administered Kashmir following their prolonged suspension. According to local sources, internet services have remained suspended for 74 days severely affecting students،traders, freelancers, and the general public. Chaudhry Muhammad Akhtar, Chairman of the Kashmir Orphan Relief Trust has appealed to all relevant stakeholders to restore communication services without further delay.
